Prosecutors alleged in court on Tuesday (7/27) that Michael Jackson committed conspiracy by luring a young boy, imprisoning him and his family, and forcing them to record a videotape absolving Jackson of molestation claims.

Jackson's defense attorney called the prosecution's case "absurd on its face" and asked that all charges against Jackson be dismissed, according to an Associated Press report.

Interpol is set to release a new album titled "Antics" on Sept. 28. The band is touring this summer with The Cure 's Curiosa festival.

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne reportedly spent four hours last week at Washington, DC's Walter Reed Army Medical Center, visiting soldiers wounded in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Big Head Todd & The Monsters issue the DVD "Live at the Fillmore" on Aug. 10, followed by a double-live CD of the same name on Sept. 14. The sets were filmed and recorded at San Francisco's Fillmore Auditorium on March 19 and 20.
