Singer/songwriter Steve Earle issues a new studio album titled "The Revolution Starts ... Now" on Aug. 24.
Three songs from the politically charged album--"F the CC," "Rich Man's War" and "The Revolution Starts Now"--are streaming at Earle's official website.
"Ramones Raw," the first authorized DVD dedicated to punk-rock trailblazers The Ramones , will hit stores on Sept. 28.
The DVD spans the group's entire 30-year run, and features a mix of concert footage, "backstage hi-jinks," television appearances and home video from Marky Ramone's personal library, according to a press release.
The Isley Brothers ' leader, Ronald Isley, a.k.a. Mr. Biggs, reportedly suffered a minor stroke last week in London. He spent a few days in a London hospital, and now is said to be recovering at his home in St. Louis.
Madonna reportedly plans to open a $22 million Kabbalah grammar school in New York City in December to teach children about the religion, which is related to Judaism.
Country singer Mindy McCready , 28, reportedly was arrested at her Nashville home on Thursday (8/5). She was charged with prescription drug fraud for allegedly using a fake prescription in February to obtain OxyContin.
