Kid Rock tour keeps chugging along
Kid Rock continues to crank out dates for his ongoing tour in support of his 2003 self-titled album.
Dates for the run now stretch into October, and include an Oct. 17 performance at the annual Voodoo Music Experience festival in New Orleans. Details are shown below.
Rock has been on the road since January to back last November's "Kid Rock ," which includes the cut "Jackson Mississippi." The song's music video is streaming at Rock's website.
The set also features Rock's cover of Bad Company's "Feel Like Makin' Love," the Bob Seger-penned "Hard Night for Sarah" and the Rock originals "Son of Detroit," "I Am" and "Single Father."
Guests who turn up on "Kid Rock" include Kenny Wayne Shepherd, David McMurray, ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, Hank Williams Jr. and Sheryl Crow.
Joining Rock on the road is his longtime band, Twisted Brown Trucker: guitarists Kenny Olson and Jason Krause, keyboardist Jimmie Bones and drummer Stefanie Eulinberg.
The Detroit rocker's tour continues with a hometown-area three-night stand on Aug. 26-28.
