Melissa Etheridge maps fall theater gigs
The new round of dates launches Sept. 24 in Minneapolis, and includes stops in more than a dozen North American cities. Tickets for Etheridge's upcoming Canadian dates are on sale now, while on-sale dates for many of her U.S. shows were pending at press time.
Etheridge continues to back her latest album, "Lucky," which hit stores in February. A new Etheridge concert DVD, "Lucky Live," is due out on Sept. 28.
"Lucky Live" was shot during Etheridge's April 17 performance at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City. The film--directed by Michael Simon, who also directed Etheridge's 2002 DVD, "Live ... Alone"--first aired in June as a pay-per-view special.
Among the special features on the "Lucky Live" DVD are an interview with Etheridge, behind-the-scenes footage and a photo gallery. "Lucky Live" will be available in two versions: one will feature the DVD only, while a second version will also include an audio CD of the show.
