Michael Jackson box set to feature unissued tracks

Epic Records will release the new box set " Michael Jackson --The Ultimate Collection" in time for the holidays.

The collection, due in stores on Nov. 16, is billed as the most extensive Jackson compilation to date. It houses four audio CDs containing a total of 57 tracks that feature a mix of hit singles, album cuts, 13 previously unreleased recordings and other rarities.

The collection spans Jackson's career from 1969-2004, and also includes a previously unissued 1992 concert DVD that was filmed in Bucharest.

Among the previously unreleased tracks that appear on the box set are nine demo recordings: "Shake a Body" (with The Jacksons, a song that eventually surfaced as 1978's "Shake Your Body"), "Sunset Driver" (from the "Off the Wall" sessions), "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)" (from the "Thriller" sessions), "Scared of the Moon," "We are the World" (Jackson's solo demo), "Cheater" (from the "Bad" sessions), and "Fall Again," "Beautiful Girl" and "The Way You Love Me."

The box set will also included a 64-page color booklet containing full details about every track, and dozens of rare photographs from Jackson's archives, among other content.
