Type O Negative goes on goth-rock road trip

With the ink still drying on its new record deal, Type O Negative is making plans for a fall tour on the U.S. club circuit.

The gloom-and-doom rockers launch the run in early October, and dates so far--which focus on the Northeast and Midwest--stretch into mid-November. Details are shown below.

Tickets for most shows are on sale now.

Last month, Type O Negative announced that it had signed a new recording contract with SPV Records after parting ways with longtime label Roadrunner Records. Details on the group's seventh studio album--which will be its first for SPV--are "coming soon," according to a press release.

Meanwhile, Roadrunner issued the band's most recent album, "Live Is Killing Me," in June of last year.

More recently, Type O Negative recorded a cover of Santana's "Evil Ways," which is slated for inclusion on a forthcoming tribute to science-fiction writer Neil Gaiman, according to the band's website. No release date has been announced.
