Switchfoot expands fall tour plans as launch date nears
With the late-September kick-off of its fall tour quickly approaching, Switchfoot has filled many of the blanks in its schedule.
The outing, which is still scheduled to begin Sept. 25 in Alabama, now features a full contingent of dates that stretch well into November. Details are shown below.
The Southern California outfit continues to support last year's "The Beautiful Letdown," which was certified platinum in May, signifying U.S. shipment of 1 million copies. The set features the hits "Meant to Live' and "Dare You to Move."
Frontman Jon Foreman and his brother, bassist Tim Foreman, formed Switchfoot in the mid-'90s. The group--which emerged on the Christian-rock scene before breaking through to the mainstream--also includes drummer Chad Butler and guitarist-keyboardist Jerome Fontamillas.
