Beastie Boys stretch tour into November

Rap trio Beastie Boys , who recently embarked on a fall tour of the North American arena circuit, have added five more cities to their itinerary.

The latest confirmed stops on the band's route are Worcester, MA; Madison, WI; Detroit; Toronto; and Ottawa. Tickets for the newly announced shows go on sale to the general public on Sept. 18.

Subscribers to Beastie Boys' official email newsletter have access to online ticket pre-sales; more information is available at the group's website.

The New York-bred Beastie Boys are on the road behind their June release, "To the 5 Boroughs," which debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 album chart. The set has since been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, signifying more than a million units shipped in North America.

The album--which is the trio's first since 1998's "Hello Nasty"--features the lead-off single "Ch-Check it Out."
