Tesla [ tickets ] and Scorpions [ tickets ], two hard-rock outfits that rose to fame in the '80s, join forces this fall for a run on the U.S. arena circuit.

The trek kicks off in late October, and dates so far stretch through early December. The itinerary is included below.

German-based Scorpions are supporting their May release, "Unbreakable," which is the group's first new studio set since 1999's "Eye II Eye." Streaming samples of all of the album's tracks are posted at the band's website.

In March, Tesla released "Into the Now," its first collection of new material since 1994's "Bust a Nut." The set debuted at No. 31 on The Billboard 200 album chart, and at No. 4 on Billboard's Top Internet Albums chart.

Tesla is the midst of a series of headlining club and theater dates that wrap up later this month. Earlier this summer, group members Jeff Keith (vocals), Frank Hannon (guitar), Brian Wheat (bass) and Troy Luccketta announced that fellow founding member Tommy Skeoch (guitar) was "taking some time off from the band to seek treatment for addiction," according to a statement issued at the time.

Guitarist Scott Johnson is filling in for Skeoch during the current headlining run and upcoming joint tour with the Scorpions.
