Nonpoint [ tickets ] backs its third major-label album--and first for Lava Records--with a fall club tour that features Skindred [ tickets ] in the opening slot.

Dates for the run, which kicked off this week, so far stretch into late October. Details are shown below.

Florida-based Nonpoint is backing "Recoil," which surfaced in early August. The set features the band-originals "Truth" and "Done It Away," as well as a cover of Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight." All three cuts are streaming at the band's website.

Nonpoint signed with Lava after issuing its first two major-label sets--2002's "Development" and 2000's "Statement"--on MCA Records. The albums sold a combined total of about 300,000 copies, according to a press release.

"We banged out our previous album, 'Development,' in just three months, but with 'Recoil, we took an entire year off and just wrote," frontman Elias Soriano said in a statement. "We jammed, we played and we wrote. 'Recoil' is about the energy everyone wants, that heavy thing you get at our shows."

Skindred's Lava debut, "Babylon," hit stores on Aug. 31.
