Set to return to the road later this month, Kittie [ tickets ] continues to add dates to its upcoming Metal Movement Tour, which also features Otep [ tickets ] and Crisis [ tickets ].

The female metal quartet has penciled in a slew of new stops for the outing, which is scheduled to run from late-September through at least early November.

The group is also due to play a pair of its own late-September headlining dates and a radio-station festival prior to the Metal Movement Tour's Sept. 27 launch. Details are shown below.

The upcoming tour mark's Kittie's return to the road after scrapping a number of dates in August when drummer Mercedes Lander fell ill. Tickets for the canceled shows will be honored at the upcoming concerts, according to the band's website.

Kittie's latest album, "Until the End," hit stores in July. That same month, the grouped launched a club outing in support of the set, but had to cut the trek short in mid-August when Lander succumbed to severe dehydration and exhaustion, according to a statement the band issued at the time.

"Until the End" is Kittie's first album with new guitarist Lisa Marx, whom the group added to the lineup earlier this year. She joins founding sister duo Mercedes and singer Morgan Lander, and bassist Jennifer J. Arroyo.

Original guitarist Fallon Bowman left the band in 2001, and original bassist Talena Atfield jumped ship in 2002.
