Ratdog has called off its planned fall tour because singer/guitarist Bob Weir is suffering from exhaustion.
"Since January, Bob Weir has worked continuously on music dates for Ratdog and The Dead, promotional work for his career retrospective album, and a number of nonprofit appearances," said a statement posted on the band's website. "It was all simply too much, and he's reached a point of complete physical exhaustion. He anticipates returning to performing in early spring 2005."
McDonald's has signed a marketing partnership with Destiny's Child that will make the R&B trio an integral part of the fast food chain's "I'm Lovin' It" ad campaign.
As part of the agreement, McDonald's will sponsor the group's planned 2005 world tour, which will be dubbed "Destiny Fulfilled and Lovin' It."

According to a press release, the disc will retail for $7.99, and includes a previously unreleased acoustic rendition of Simpson's hit "Angels," as well as her "first-ever duet with sister Ashlee Simpson
