Korn suits up for fall tour behind hits package
Metal juggernaut Korn backs its just-released best-of set with a swing on the U.S. arena circuit.
So far, the group has lined up a two-week stretch of shows that kicks off on Nov. 10. Tickets for a handful of dates are on sale now, with the majority set to hit the box office on Saturday (10/9). Details are shown in the itinerary below.
More dates are expected, as a band announcement indicates that the tour will extend into the winter.
Members of Korn's official fan club--dubbed Korn Kamp--have an early shot at tickets via an online pre-sale. More information is available at the group's website.
On Tuesday (10/5), Korn issued "Greatest Hits Vol. 1." The 19-track set features cuts from the group's six studio albums, as well as new covers of Cameo's "Word Up!" and Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall (Parts 1, 2, 3)." Also included is a DVD that captures the band's Nov. 24, 2003 performance at CBGB in New York City.
Korn's most recent set of all-new material is last November's "Take a Look In the Mirror." The collection features "Did My Time," which was among this year's Grammy nominees for Best Metal Performance.
