Godsmack sets more unplugged concerts between Metallica dates
Godsmack continues to roll out more acoustic headlining shows that fall on the group's off-days from Metallica's ongoing tour.
New to the band's unplugged schedule are three late-October shows--including a Halloween performance in Cincinnati--as well as a pair of November stops that bring that month's total of acoustic shows to five. Details are shown below.
Godsmack has been holding down the opening slot on Metallica's "St. Anger" tour for most of this year, and, last month, began playing its own acoustic dates during days off from that tour. The shows support the group's most-recent release, an acoustic EP titled "The Other Side" that features unplugged versions of previously released material, as well as three new songs.
Late last month, Godsmack issued "Batalla de los Tambores," a live cut available only via online services such as Apple's iTunes Music Store, Real and Napster.
Also in September, Godsmack released the live DVD "Changes," which was recorded earlier this year.
