Soft Cell 's Marc Almond was in critical condition at a London hospital on Monday (10/18), a day after he was involved in a motorcycle accident.
According to Almond's official website, Almond "suffered serious injuries" when the motorcycle he was a passenger on was involved in a collision with a car.
Almond underwent emergency surgery on Monday, and was in intensive care, according to the website.
Veteran indie-rockers Luna have announced that they'll call it quits following a fall tour behind their forthcoming album, "Rendezvous," which is due in stores on Oct. 26.
A two-CD, deluxe edition of Eric Clapton 's "461 Ocean Boulevard" will be issued Oct. 26 in celebration of the album's 30th anniversary.
Disc one features a digitally remastered version of the entire album; disc two is live material culled from Clapton's Dec. 4-5, 1974 concerts at London's Hammersmith Odeon.
Travis will issue a best-of CD titled "Singles" and an accompanying DVD on Nov. 2.
The album features the new track "Walking in the Sun." The DVD includes all of the band's videos along with rare footage and other material.
