Papa Roach [ tickets ], which launches a North American trek on Thursday (10/21), has added more dates to the run.

The group has filled a number of blanks in its November itinerary and has penciled in its first pair of December dates. New stops include a number of late-November shows in the South, as well as concerts in Montreal and Toronto. Details are shown below.

Papa Roach's North American schedule--which follows the band's current European tour--features a mix of radio-station festivals and headlining performances, as well as an opening set for supergroup Velvet Revolver on Oct. 30.

Papa Roach is backing its new album, "Getting Away with Murder," which hit stores last month. The set sold about 50,000 copies during its first week out, and debuted at No. 17 on The Billboard 200 album chart.

The album's title track recently topped the Active Rock chart; the song's music video is streaming at the band's website.

"Getting Away with Murder" is the follow-up to "Lovehatetragedy." Bassist Jerry Horton, in a recent liveDaily interview, said that frontman Jacoby Shaddix took a different approach to writing lyrics for the new set.

"I know for Jacoby, he didn't want to write a self-pity record like the last one," Horton said. "He's got a different outlook on life and it's more kind of an active role and a positive role, you know? It's just to basically say that life doesn't control you. You should try and control what happens to you. It's just better all the way around."
