Bon Jovi to hype new box set with New Jersey concert
New Jersey rockers Bon Jovi are gearing up their promotional machine for the Nov. 16 release of the box set "100,000,000 Bon Jovi Fans Can't Be Wrong."
Among the planned events surrounding the set's release is a Nov. 21 concert at The Borgata in Atlantic City, NJ. The show will air live on the high-definition cable networks INHD and INHD2--marking the first in a planned a series of concerts by major acts dubbed "INHD Center Stage"--and will also be webcast on Samsung's website.
Ticket information for the concert will be released next week, according to Bon Jovi's website, which implores its readers to refrain from calling the venue's box office.
Bon Jovi is also scheduled to promote the new box set--which marks the band's 20th anniversary--with a Nov. 23 performance on NBC-TV's "Today."
"100 Million Bon Jovi Fans Can't Be Wrong" features three discs of previously unreleased songs, one disc of rarities and a behind-the-scenes DVD. The set will be packaged with a 64-page book that includes fan testimonials, band-member interviews, and "personal content" culled by the band, according to a press release.
