Raphael Saadiq supports sophomore album with live shows
R&B singer Raphael Saadiq hits the North American club circuit in November for a round of concerts that support his recently released album, "Raphael Saadiq as Ray Ray."
The outing begins in Toronto on Nov. 4, and is so far scheduled to makes stops in 11 cities. The itinerary is shown below.
Tickets for most shows are on sale now.
Saadiq will warm up for the outing with an in-store performance Thursday (10/28) at Amoeba Music in Los Angeles, according to his publicist.
Released on Oct. 5, "Raphael Saadiq as Ray Ray" is the follow-up to Saadiq's 2002 solo debut, "Instant Vintage." The new set features the single "Rifle Love"; Saadiq's former Tony Toni Tone bandmate Dwayne Wiggins and Lucy Pearl's Dawn Robinson guest on the track.
"Raphael Saadiq as Ray Ray" debuted at No. 3 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart, and at No. 86 on The Billboard 200.
