Social Distortion [ tickets ] continues to roll out tour dates for a U.S. trek that supports the group's first new album in eight years.

The outing, which kicked off in late September, now stretches through the end of November, and is currently scheduled to wrap up with a five-night run at the Wiltern LG in Los Angeles.

Tiger Army and The Explosion open most dates, though The Explosion rotates with Red Tape, The Hangmen, Audio Karate and The God Awfuls during Social D's five-night stand in Los Angeles. Details are shown in the itinerary below.

On Sept. 28, Social Distortion released "Sex, Love and Rock'n'Roll," its first album of new material since 1996's "White Light, White Heat, White Trash." It is also the group's first set without guitarist Dennis Danell, who died of a brain aneurysm in 2000. Taking over for Danell is Jonny Wickersham.

Also new to the lineup since "White Light, White Heat, White Trash" surfaced is drummer Charlie Quintana, who replaced Chuck Biscuits in 2000. Founding member Mike Ness still fronts the group.

Bassist John Maurer, who was with Social Distortion for 20 years, recorded "Sex, Love and Rock'n'Roll" with the group, but has since bowed out.

"It was a blast and I have great memories, but the hiatus between records ... has given me a chance to develop other interests at home and hang with my family," Maurer said in a statement. "I just don't want to leave."

Rancid bassist Matt Freeman fills Maurer's slot on the upcoming tour.
