Switchfoot steps out with more North American shows

Pop-rock outfit Switchfoot will spend much of what's left of 2004 working the North American club circuit.

The group has set headlining dates in the U.S. through at least the middle of November, as well as a couple of December headlining stops in Canada. Also in December, the band is booked to play a handful of radio-station holiday festivals. Details are shown below.

The Southern California outfit continues to support last year's platinum-certified "The Beautiful Letdown," which features the hits "Meant to Live' and "Dare You to Move." The latter cut is streaming at the band's website.

Frontman Jon Foreman and his brother, bassist Tim Foreman, formed Switchfoot in the mid-'90s. The group--which emerged on the Christian-rock scene before breaking through to the mainstream--also includes drummer Chad Butler and guitarist-keyboardist Jerome Fontamillas.
