Mellencamp will be accompanied by R&B singer/producer Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds.

Punk rockers Sleater-Kinney have signed to Seattle's Sub Pop label, and have begun recording a new album with producer Dave Fridmann (The Flaming Lips). The set is expected to reach stores in late spring or early summer.
"Blinking with Fists," Billy Corgan 's first poetry collection, debuted at No. 24 on the New York Times Hardcover Fiction Best Sellers List on Oct. 31. According to retail monitor Nielsen BookScan, it was also the top-selling poetry book in the U.S. during two of the first three weeks it's been on sale.
