Mos Def brings 'Danger' to clubs and theaters
Mos Def returns to the stage next month for a round of live performances that support his recently released album, "The New Danger."
The hip-hop wordsmith, who recently completed a batch of October and November tour dates, is set to resume touring in early December, and dates run for about two weeks. The itinerary is shown below.
Released in October, "The New Danger" is Mos Def's first collection of original solo material since 1999's "Black on Both Sides." The new set sold about 95,000 copies during its first week out, and debuted at No. 5 on The Billboard 200 album chart, making it Mos Def's highest-charting debut to date.
"The New Danger" features the cut "Sex, Love, & Money," a sample of which is streaming at Mos Def's website. The site also features links to the song's music video and the video for another new track titled "Ghetto Rock."
