G. Love & Special Sauce continue to 'Hustle' during winter tour
Garrett Dutton--a.k.a. G. Love--and his band Special Sauce will follow a brief, year-end respite with a new round of concerts that kicks off in January.
So far, the group--Dutton (lead vocals/guitars/harmonica), Jim "Jimi Jazz" Prescott (acoustic bass) and Jeffrey "Thunderhouse" Clemens (drums/percussion)--has lined up a handful of shows, including stops at the House of Blues clubs in New Orleans and Las Vegas. Details are shown below.
G. Love & Special Sauce are also scheduled to give a lone December performance at Seattle radio station KMTT's annual Winter Warmth concert, which takes place Dec. 4 at the Moore Theatre. The show will also feature Sonia Dada and Ray Lamontagne. More information is available at the venue's website.
In August, G. Love & Special Sauce issued "The Hustle," which is the follow-up to 2001's "Electric Mile." The set features the cut "Booty Call," which is slated for release as a single and video next year, according to a recent message posted at G. Love's website.
During his downtime before the 2005 tour, G. Love plans to head into the studio to finish work on an album with his side project, dubbed Lottery.
