More U.S. dates ahead for Steve Earle
Steve Earle is wrapping up 2004 with a European tour, but the country-music maverick will be back in the U.S. to open 2005 with a new round of dates.
Earle continues to back his latest album, "The Revolution Starts ... Now," a collection that continues his penchant for mixing music and activism. He also debuted a weekly radio show this year--which goes by the same name as the album--on the left-leaning Air America radio network.
Three songs from the politically charged album--"F the CC," "Rich Man's War" and the title track--are streaming at Earle's official website.
Motion picture director Jonathan Demme directed the video for "Rich Man's War," a clip that's expected to debut soon.
"Revolution" continues a prolific release schedule for Earle, coming on the heels of 2002's "Jerusalem," the 2002 outtakes package "Sidetracks" and 2003's double-live CD and DVD "Just an American Boy."
Country singer/songwriter Allison Moorer , who issued a new album titled "The Duel" in April, supports on all of Earle's currently confirmed January and February dates.
