About 840,000 copies of U2 's "How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb" sold during the set's first week in stores, enough to place it atop this week's U.S. album chart.

U2 pushes Eminem's "Encore," which had spent the previous two weeks at No. 1, to No. 2 on The Billboard 200.

Shania Twain's "Greatest Hits" jumps two spots to No. 3, while Destiny's Child's "Destiny Fulfilled" slips two places to No. 4. Toby Keith's "Greatest Hits Vol. 2" climbed two rungs to No. 5.

A man who was accused of stalking singer/songwriter Sheryl Crow for 15 months was acquitted by a New York jury on Tuesday (11/30).

The man, Ambrose Kappos, 38, told reporters after the decision that he was "delusional" during the period he pursued Crow, believing that he was communicating with her telepathically.

The Recording Academy has named Brian Wilson the 2005 MusiCares Person of the Year. He will be honored at the Grammy foundation's 15th annual MusiCares gala tribute, which takes place Feb. 11 in Los Angeles. The Grammys will be handed out two days later.

"He embodies the positive spirit that comes from dedication, perseverance and creative brilliance; his contributions to the evolution of music are both legendary and profound," MusiCares Foundation and Recording Academy president Neil Portnow said in a statement. "Brian and his music have the power to reach listeners across generations and deliver a musical experience that is timeless and unforgettable."
