Live Reschedules 3 Shows, Adds 2 Shows

Live has rescheduled dates for three of the four concerts cancelled earlier this month after several band members became ill.

Singer Ed Kowalczyk, his brother and rhythm guitarist Adam, and drummer Chad Gracey all came down with upper respiratory infections, resulting in the cancellations of shows in Toronto, Cleveland, Cobbleskill, N.Y., and Detroit. All but the Toronto date have been rescheduled for late January or early February.

The band has also announced the addition of a second Dec. 30 show at the Asbury Park Convention Hall in New Jersey. Also new to the band's itinerary is a Jan. 23 appearance at Penn State's University Hall.

Live is touring behind its fourth album for Radioactive Records, ''The Distance to Here,'' which was released in October. The band concluded a two-month North American tour on Nov. 21, and will head to Europe in early December.
