Alter Bridge [ tickets ] has added more dates to its upcoming U.S. headlining tour, and has tapped fellow rockers Silvertide [ tickets ] to join Submersed [ tickets ] on the bill.

The tour, which kicks off on New Year's Eve in Alter Bridge's home state of Florida, now stretches into mid-February. Tickets for all of the newly added stops will hit the box office during the next two weeks. Details are shown in the itinerary below.

Alter Bridge--Creed alumni Mark Tremonti (guitar), Scott Phillips (drums) and Brian Marshall (bass), along with former Mayfield Four frontman Myles Kennedy--issued its debut album, "One Day Remains," in August. The set recently achieved gold status, marking 500,000 copies shipped in the U.S.

Helping drive sales of "One Day Remains" are lead-off single "Open Your Eyes" and follow-up cut "Find the Real." Both tracks are streaming at the group's website.

Alter Bridge is scheduled to make an appearance at the 2004 Billboard Music Awards, which air on FOX-TV on Wednesday (12/8).

Silvertide, which spent a good chunk of 2004 opening for Van Halen, issued its first full-length album, "Show & Tell," in June.

Alter Bridge's Wind-up Records label-mate Submersed delivered its debut set, "In Due Time," in late September.
