Rapper Young Buck , whose real name is David Darnell Brown, was officially charged on Monday (12/20) with assault with a deadly weapon in connection with a stabbing that took place during November's Vibe Awards.
Brown is accused of stabbing Jimmy James Johnson, who allegedly started a melee by punching rapper/producer Dr. Dre during the ceremony. Brown is signed to Dr. Dre's label.
For his part, Johnson was also formally charged with assault on Monday, according to published reports.
The Gibson guitar played by George Harrison on The Beatles ' "Revolver" album and by John Lennon on "The Beatles" (a.k.a. "The White Album") was sold to an anonymous bidder for $567,500 on Friday (12/17), according to Christie's in New York.
Mute Records has unveiled plans to release a three-disc compilation of material from Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds on March 22.
Titled "B-Sides & Rarities," the set is an "eclectic retrospective collection of material by the band, some of which has been deleted, featured on a disparate number of soundtrack albums or has never been officially released before," according to a press release.
Jazz trumpeter Chris Botti is slated to perform a live concert Tuesday night (12/21) at 7 p.m. Eastern Time on the QVC shopping network. The event will feature Botti performing "several songs before an intimate studio audience during the live, one-hour QVC presentation," according to a press release from the channel.
