Lucky Dog Unleashed Tour Hits The Southeast

Texas honky-tonk veterans Jack Ingram , Bruce Robison and Charlie Robison -- labelmates on Sony's Lucky Dog imprint -- will join forces for a tour of clubs in the Southeast that opens on Oct. 12.

Ingram released his Lucky Dog debut, ''Hey You,'' last month, but has consistently toured with his Beat Up Ford Band since 1992. According to his new label, Ingram's independent releases sold more than 20,000 copies on the Texas college circuit.

The Houston native's previous label, Rising Tide, was shuttered following Seagram's buyout of its parent, Polygram Records. Ingram will set more headline dates for November and December, according to his publicist.

Bruce Robison is supporting his third album, ''Long Way Home From Anywhere,'' and his brother Charlie is touring behind his second major label album (and his first for Lucky Dog), ''Life Of The Party.''

The brothers -- who have since established separate careers -- started their first band while still in junior high school. Like Ingram, they have long been fixtures on the Texas club circuit.
