New Found Glory hits small venues on 2005 headlining tour

New Found Glory heads to Europe in early 2005, but will return to the U.S. for a spring tour that touches down in clubs throughout the country.

So far, the group has confirmed a three-week stretch of shows that kicks off in its home state of Florida on March 10. Details are shown in the itinerary below.

The band is looking forward to returning to smaller venues, according to a November message guitarist Chad Gilbert posted at the band's website.

"For the past two years, our full U.S. tours have all been either Warped Tour style festivals or arena shows," "... Though we love the big exposure, our true love and passion is for the intimate club shows. So that's how we've decided to set up our headlining tour."

The group plans to play more than 60 U.S. shows, according to Gilbert's message.

"We will be hitting just about every city in the U.S. and might even be playing a couple nights in your town," he wrote.

Reggie & the Full Effect and Eisley , will hold down the tour's opening slots.

"Both bands are amazing in their own unique way and make for an amazing show," Gilbert wrote. "... Maybe you don't even like NFG and are only going to see them. That's cool too, as long as you don't throw stuff at us."

New Found Glory continues to support its latest album, "Catalyst," which surfaced in May. In November, the group issued a concert DVD titled "This Disaster: Live in London."
