Slipknot [ tickets ], which recently announced plans to tackle a 37-city tour of the U.S. in early 2005, has hammered out details for the initial round of shows.

The outing--which will also feature Lamb of God [ tickets ] and Shadows Fall [ tickets ]--kicks off March 4 in Hartford, CT, and 15 stops so far are set through March 23. Details are shown below.

Tickets for the currently confirmed dates will be available via an online presale that begins on Tuesday (12/28), according to Roadrunner Records. More information is posted at Roadrunner's website.

More dates will be announced soon, and the final itinerary is expected to stretch until May 2, according to organizers.

Also shown below are details of the Slipknot [ tickets ]'s impending Canadian trek, which kicks off in Quebec City on Jan. 7 and works its way westward before wrapping up in Vancouver on Jan. 16.

Sandwiched between the Canadian and U.S. runs is a one-off stop in New Zealand and a January/February stint as part of Australia's annual Big Day Out festival. More information is available at the band's website.

Slipknot is hitting the road behind its third album, this year's "Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses." The band, which worked with producer Ross Robinson on its previous two releases, opted to team with producer Rick Rubin (Slayer, Red Hot Chili Peppers) this time around.

Massachusetts-based Shadows Fall [ tickets ] is backing its latest set, "War Within," which surfaced in September. Virginia quintet Lamb of God [ tickets ] is supporting its August release, "Ashes of the Wake."
