New Found Glory [ tickets ], who last month unveiled plans for a North American club tour, has added a slew of dates to the run.

Scheduled to launch on March 10 in Ft. Lauderdale, the outing now stretches into late April. Among the new dates are two-night stands in Detroit, Chicago and Washington, DC, as well as a pair of Canadian stops. Details are shown in the itinerary below.

Reggie & the Full Effect and Eisley will hold down the opening slots.

The group precedes the North American trek with a European tour that kicks off on Jan. 11. More information is available at the band's website.

New Found Glory is looking forward to returning to smaller venues, according to a November message guitarist Chad Gilbert posted at the site.

"For the past two years, our full U.S. tours have all been either Warped Tour style festivals or arena shows," he wrote. "... Though we love the big exposure, our true love and passion is for the intimate club shows. So that's how we've decided to set up our headlining tour."

The group--which plans to play more than 60 U.S. shows, according to Gilbert's message--continues to support its latest album, "Catalyst," which surfaced in May and debuted at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 album chart. In November, the group issued a concert DVD titled "This Disaster: Live in London."
