Relient K sets club tour behind 'Mmhmm'
Hard-touring pop/punk act Relient K , which averages 150-200 live shows per year, returns to the road in February to headline a series of club dates.
The Canton, OH-based band, which is headlining a tour for just the third time, will be supported throughout the month by Mae and Name Taken.
Relient K is backing its fourth album, "Mmhmm," which hit stores in November and debuted at No. 15 on The Billboard 200 Album chart. More than 200,000 copies of the album have already sold, according to Capitol Records.
"Mmhmm," which was the follow-up to 2003's Grammy-nominated "Two Lefts Don't Make a Right ... But Three Do," was produced by Mark Townsend and Relient K vocalist/guitarist Matt Thiessen. Various tracks were mixed by Tom Lord-Alge (Oasis, The Rolling Stones).
The first single from "Mmhmm," "Be My Escape," will be shipped to radio in late February, according to Capitol.
