Hilary Duff will donate a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales on her current "Most Wanted" tour to tsunami relief efforts.
"I, just like everyone else, have watched this terrible tragedy and feel so sorry for the children and the families who have lost so much," Duff said in a statement. "I want to do everything I can to help those that have survived."
Duff plans to present a check--destined for the United Nations' Kids With a Cause program--to U.N. officials in March.
Beck , Tenacious D, Will Ferrell, Dave Grohl, Josh Homme and Eddie Vedder are scheduled to appear at a Jan. 17 benefit dubbed Music for Relief. The event, which will benefit Southern Asia tsunami victims, will take place at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles.
Pixies singer/guitarist Frank Black 's first child, Jack Errol Thompson, was born on Jan. 7.
Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil wed Lia Gerardini in Las Vegas on Sunday (1/9). Rapper Hammer officiated.
