Vans Warped Tour signs up The Offspring, others

Southern California rockers The Offspring will hold down a slot on this year's edition of the Vans Warped Tour , joining a bill that also features The Transplants, My Chemical Romance, Strung Out, Fall Out Boy and Yesterdays Rising.
A long list of additional acts will be added to the Warped bill in the coming weeks. According to The Offspring's website, organizers will announce dates and venues in mid-February.
The Offspring's latest release is 2003's "Splinter"; no release date for a follow-up has been announced.
This year will mark the 11th annual Warped Tour outing, which struck on a successful formula that combines punk-leaning music, extreme sports and low ticket prices.
