Maria McKee [ tickets ]'s sixth solo release, titled "Peddlin' Dreams," is set to hit stores on April 19. The 12-song album was produced by her bassist, frequent co-writer and husband, Jim Akin.

A federal judge in New York has dismissed a lawsuit brought against Megadeth [ tickets ] and its founder/singer/guitarist Dave Mustaine by a long-time band member, according to Megadeth's website. The sixth annual Americana Music Association Conference is set to take place Sept. 8-10 at the Nashville Convention Center. The conference's Americana Honors & Awards ceremony will take place on Sept. 8 at Ryman Auditorium. For the first time, tickets to the awards ceremony will be sold to the general public.
