Bowling for Soup [ tickets ]'s winter tour--which also features American Hi-Fi [ tickets ], Riddlin' Kids and MC Lars--now includes an April swing through the Northeast.

The trek's current leg stretches into late February, after which the groups will take a break before resuming the run on April 1 in Pittsburgh, the first of a half-dozen Northeastern shows scheduled in April.

Texas-based Bowling for Soup is touring behind last September's "A Hangover You Don't Deserve." The album features the group's breakthrough hit, "1985," as well as the latest single, "Always," which is streaming at the group's website.

American Hi-Fi is working the road in advance of its March 29 release, the Butch Vig-produced "Hearts on Parade," which is the group's first set for Maverick Records. The band, which previously recorded for Island Records, broke through to the mainstream with the cut "Flavor of the Weak" from its self-titled 2001 debut.

Riddlin' Kids, who also hail from Texas, are backing their third album, last October's "Stop the World." Samples of cuts from the album are streaming at the band's website.

MC Lars issued his debut record, titled "The Laptop EP," last July.
