Ryan Adams [ tickets ] has announced plans to release three new albums in the coming months: a two-disc set with his band The Cardinals titled "Cold Roses" (due April 19); the Thomas Schick-produced "Jacksonville;" and the Ethan Johns-produced "29" (release dates for both to be announced).
According to Adams' official website, the singer/songwriter will be touring North America and Europe this spring, summer and fall.

Rapper C-Murder [ tickets ], who is still held without bail in Louisiana prison as he awaits a retrial on a murder charge, nonetheless will release a new album on March 22, according to Koch Records.
The new set, titled "The Truest **** I Ever Said," features guest appearances by the late Soulja Slim, B.G., Akon, Capone and others.

Ray Peterson [ tickets ], best known for his 1960 teen-tragedy song "Tell Laura I Love Her," died Tuesday (1/25) after battling cancer. He was believed to be 69 years old, but many sources list his age as 65.
