Cher sets yet another end-date for farewell tour
Cher 's three-year-old farewell tour, now dubbed the "Farewell Never Can Say Goodbye Tour," is now scheduled to end with an April 30 gig at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
Promoters said the show will be the 325th date of the tour, which launched in June of 2002, and was initially scheduled to visit fewer than 50 North American cities.
Last year, Cher announced that her final tour would end with a series of international dates, concluding with a March 11 show in Brisbane, Australia. However, that plan was scrapped after the singer postponed several shows in December due to illness, and rescheduled them for April.
In addition to the Los Angeles show, Cher's itinerary also includes a newly added April 18 gig in Council Bluffs, IA. Tickets for the Iowa show go on sale Saturday (2/5), and tickets for the Los Angeles performance hit the market on Feb. 7.
At Cher's performances, concertgoers can expect to hear songs culled from throughout her four-decade-long career, and to see her make multiple costume changes.
