Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde will lead his other band, Black Label Society [ tickets ], on a spring tour of the U.S. club and theater circuit.

Wylde and company get things started March 10 in Arizona, and the run is currently scheduled to wrap up April 19 in New Orleans. The itinerary is shown below.

Two days before the tour's kick-off, Black Label Society issues "Mafia," its sixth album overall, and its first for Artemis Records. The group signed with the label after parting ways with Spitfire Records following the release of last year's acoustic set "Hangover Music Vol. 6."

"Suicide Messiah," the first single from "Mafia," was recently the No. 1 most-added song in the Active Rock and Mainstream Rock radio formats, according to Artemis. The cut is streaming at Black Label Society's website.

In 1987, a 19-year-old Wylde was thrust into the spotlight when Osbourne selected him to play lead guitar in Osbourne's band. In addition to playing guitar, Wylde co-wrote material on multi-platinum Osbourne releases such as "No Rest for the Wicked," "No More Tears" and "Ozzmosis."

Wylde formed Black Label Society in 1998, and serves as the group's sole songwriter, vocalist and lead guitarist, while still maintaining his position in Osbourne's lineup.
