Nine Inch Nails book trio of U.S. warm-up shows

February 10, 2005 11:02 AM
Trent Reznor, whose new Nine Inch Nails album won't hit shelves until early May, continues to add shows to a pre-release itinerary that now includes three late-March shows in the U.S.

Reznor and his new touring lineup are now scheduled to make their live debut at theaters in Fresno, CA; Reno, NV; and Davis, CA. Details are shown below.

Tickets for all three performances will hit the box office Saturday (2/12), according to NIN's website.

The three U.S. shows precede the group's sold-out, two-night stand in London on March 30-31, and a May 1 headlining set at this year's Coachella festival.

As previously reported, Reznor's backing band for the tour will feature longtime drummer Jerome Dillon--the only previous member of Reznor's touring lineup to return for the 2005 outing--as well as bassist Jeordie White (Marilyn Manson, A Perfect Circle), keyboardist Alessandro Cortini (modwheelmood) and guitarist Aaron North (Icarus Line).

On May 3, Reznor delivers "With Teeth," the first new Nine Inch Nails studio set since 1999's "The Fragile."

A full-blown U.S. tour--dates for which have not yet been announced--will follow the new album's release.
