Briefly: 3 Doors Down, Kid Rock, Dio, Destiny's Child

"Seventeen Days," the third release from Mississippi rockers 3 Doors Down , was the top-selling album of the past week, moving more than 230,000 copies.

The strong debut-week showing pushes last week's No. 1 album, The Game 's "The Documentary," down one spot to No. 2, according to Billboard.

Green Day's "American Idiot," which won Best Rock Album honors at Sunday's Grammy Awards, spends its second straight week at No. 3.

Brian McKnight's "Gemini" makes its debut at No. 4 on the chart, while the compilation album "Totally Country Vol. 4" enters the chart at No. 5.

Kid Rock reportedly was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault Wednesday (2/16) in Nashville. According to published reports, the entertainer, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, allegedly hit strip-club DJ Jerry Campos in the eye during a dispute. After Ritchie was booked and posted a $3,000 bond, he reportedly returned home to Detroit.

Dio 's "Evil or Divine: Live in New York City," the CD companion to a previously released DVD, hits stores on Feb. 22. It was recorded during Dio's 2002 "Killing the Dragon" tour.

The player introductions at Sunday's (2/20) NBA All-Star Game will be made by Destiny's Child , the league announced. Country acts LeAnn Rimes and Big & Rich will perform at halftime.

Kelly Clarkson and Goo Goo Dolls will perform during Saturday's (2/19) three-point shootout and slam-dunk competition.
