McLachlan, Wheeler Tracks Removed From Columbine Video

Following demands from Sarah McLachlan and Cheryl Wheeler , songs by those artists have been removed from the soundtrack of a Jefferson County-produced videotape of the aftermath of the Columbine High School massacre in Littleton, Colo.

The Jefferson County Attorney told reporters today (4/28) that the music was removed in order to avoid legal wrangling over copyright issues.

More than 100 copies of the tape were sold at $25 each on Wednesday and Thursday, according to published reports. The county official encouraged anyone with a tape containing the music to exchange it for the newly edited version.
