Billy Idol (Los Angeles, CA)
Even though '80s mainstay Billy Idol hadn't released any new music in more than 10 years, he has been able to keep his finger on the pulse of the industry. His songs have been speckled throughout the soundtracks of movies like "The Wedding Singer," in which he also made a cameo, and his tours have been well attended. Now, Idol is returning with a collection of new songs dubbed "Devil's Playground," which he debuted during his fall 2004 tour. The album, which features the single "Scream" and the trademark searing guitar of Steve Stevens, hits stores March 22, and is the English rocker's first for Sanctuary Records.-- Christina Fuoco
