Mudvayne splashes itinerary with more dates
Mudvayne is gearing up for the late-March launch of another North American jaunt, which now stretches through the end of April.
Almost a dozen new dates grace the tour schedule, most of which are set in the South. Details are shown below.
In the midst of the tour, Mudvayne issues "Lost and Found"; due in stores April 12, the set follows 2002's "The End of All Things to Come."
"Lost and Found," recorded at The Plant in Sausalito, CA, with producer Dave Fortman (Superjoint Ritual, Evanescence), marks a departure for the members of Mudvayne, who, in the past, wore disguises and used nicknames. This time around, the group is going without the gimmickry.
"We've never been defined by the makeup," drummer Matt McDonough said in a statement. "That's just one of the artistic tools that we've used to communicate ideas. We're not apologizing for it or even saying that we won't wear it again in the future. But right now, this is how we're expressing ourselves."
Mudvayne has sold more than 2 million records worldwide and has racked up four RIAA gold-certified releases, according to Epic Records.
