Snoop Dogg and The Game hook up for spring tour
So far, the duo has lined up 10 dates that kick off in mid-April. Details are shown below.
Snoop Dogg continues to back last November's "R+G (Rhythm + Gangsta): The Masterpiece," which is his first release for The Neptunes' Star Trak label (a Geffen imprint). The set features guest appearances from 50 Cent, Justin Timberlake, Nelly, Lil Jon, Trina, Bootsy Collins, Charlie Wilson, and The Neptunes--a.k.a. Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams.
Previously known as a member of 50 Cent's G-Unit crew, The Game is hitting the road behind his debut solo effort, "The Documentary," which surfaced in January. The set sold about 587,000 copies during its first week out, which earned it a No. 1 debut on The Billboard 200 album chart.
Last month, The Game made headlines when 50 Cent announced during an on-air interview with New York City radio station Hot 97 that he had booted The Game from G-Unit for "disloyalty." Shortly thereafter, a feud erupted in the station's lobby, and a 24-year-old Compton, CA, man was shot in the leg.
Earlier this month, 50 and Game held a joint press conference, during which they said they were calling a truce.
