A month before it's set to hit the road, sellouts are already beginning to mount for Creed [ tickets ]'s "Human Clay Tour," an undertaking that packages the Wind-up Records recording artists with openers Our Lady Peace [ tickets ] and Oleander [ tickets ]. Fans have snapped up all tickets to shows at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York (10/1) and Paul E. Tsongas Arena outside Boston (10/2).

Ticket sales in other markets have been brisk as well. According to a Creed spokesperson, 1,300 tickets were sold in the first 20 minutes of availability for a Halloween night show scheduled to take place at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion near Houston. In Philadelphia, 3,700 tickets sold within six hours for the band's show at the Spectrum Theatre on Oct. 9.

Creed will be supporting its new album, ''Human Clay,'' which is slated for release on Sept. 28. ''Higher,'' the first single from the album, will hit radio later this month. The band's debut album, ''My Own Prison,'' has sold nearly 4 million copies.

The band warmed up over the summer by playing the European festival circuit and with a set at Woodstock (where they wowed the crowd by bringing Doors' guitarist Robby Krieger onstage for performances of ''Riders on the Storm'' and ''Roadhouse Blues.'')

Canadian rockers Our Lady Peace are scheduled to release their new album ''Happiness...Is Not A Fish That You Can Catch'' on Sept. 21 in their home country and on Sept. 28 in the United States. They'll skip the two Canadian dates on the ''Human Clay Tour'' itinerary.

Breakout Sacramento-based band Oleander, who hit this year with the album ''February Son,'' recently wrapped up a tour with Collective Soul.
