Three years ago, Jagger filed for trademarks in several categories, including cosmetics, clothing, footwear and toiletries. The singer reportedly has no plans to lend his name to any product, though a spokesperson told reporters this week, ''One of the ideas he came up with, jokingly, was a Mick Jagger lip balm.''

The Rolling Stones' name has long been a registered trademark.

Meanwhile, Metallica [ tickets ], a band that is also a registered trademark, reportedly came to a settlement earlier this month with Victoria's Secret over a lip pencil color dubbed "Metallica." Details of the settlement weren't released, but according to wire reports, Victoria's Secret will stop using the Metallica name.
