Snoop Dogg, The Game bring West Coast rap to more cities
The run, which still begins in mid-April, has more than doubled in size, with dates now stretching into early June. Among the new stops is a two-night stand at New York City's Apollo Theater. Details are shown below.
Snoop Dogg continues to back last November's "R+G (Rhythm + Gangsta): The Masterpiece," which is his first release for The Neptunes' Star Trak label (a Geffen imprint). The set features guest appearances from 50 Cent, Nelly, Lil Jon, Trina, Bootsy Collins and The Neptunes--a.k.a. Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams.
Justin Timberlake, Charlie Wilson and Pharrell Williams turn up on the cut "Signs." The song's music video is streaming at Snoop's website.
Previously known as a member of 50 Cent's G-Unit crew, The Game is hitting the road behind his debut solo effort, "The Documentary," which surfaced in January. The set sold about 587,000 copies during its first week out, which earned it a No. 1 debut on The Billboard 200 album chart.
The music video for The Game's latest single, "Hate It or Love It," is streaming at his website.
