Chevelle sets up new round of headlining dates

Chicago-based brother trio Chevelle is poised to launch a new stretch of headlining shows as it continues to back last year's "This Type of Thinking (Could Do Us In)."
The run kicks off Friday (4/8) in Louisville, KY, and is scheduled to touch down at clubs throughout the U.S. until at least late May. The itinerary includes a May 5 opening performance for Velvet Revolver. Details are shown below.
Released last September, "This Type of Thinking (Could Do Us In)" is the follow up 2002's "Wonder What's Next." The new set features the cut "Vitamin R (Leading Us Along)" and latest single "Clincher." The latter track, which appears in the EA Sports video game "Madden NFL 2005," sits at No. 5 on Billboard's latest Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
Earlier this month, Epic released a DualDisc version of "This Type of Thinking (Could Do Us In)" that features enhanced sound, a 25-minute behind-the-scenes documentary, and a newly recorded version of "The Clincher" entitled "The Clincher (Version 103)," according to the label.
